Awesome indie band.
This week I got scheduled to work 6 days in a row. The 6th day being overtime. Although I am really grateful for the overtime money that day will bring in, I am so tired and seriously did not eat nearly enough food to sustain me through the tough 8 hours on my feet.
This morning I woke up very exhausted! But thats okay. I got to make my husband and myself some delicious healthy breakfast. Egg whites, feta cheese, whole grain bread with flax, and a little oatmeal. Super yummy and filling. I’m hoping that will make me stay full through our friends buffet lunch they are having.
Keeping my head up and staying on track to be below 187, trusting the Lord and running like Forrest Gump!

Continuing to track my progress with my workout regimen, I’m happy to report good things.
Tonight me and my wonderful husband and partner in crime went to go kick some serious treadmill butt- for 30 minutes!
I know, short amount of time right? Despite the clear evidence that it’s not a massive amount of time at the gym, I know I pushed myself. That’s what matters, not numbers or time, but KNOWING that you pushed pushed pushed!
Praying that the Lord will continue to give me strength to push myself and be the fit, thin person I want to be.

One mile run, that’s all I had time for
This morning, I owe the treadmill 2 miles, and the treadmill takes no prisoners.
I woke up a little later than planned, about 5:30. Since I slept wearing my workout gear (minus the shoes), it was easy to roll out of bed and run over to the apartment gym. I power walked over, set up my party rock station on pandora, and hit it.
Our apartments hooked their gym up! It looks amazing, and it actually has equipment thats usable and clean. There are 3 treadmills, 2 elliptical machines, free weights, and a few other gadgets.
I have to say that 15-20 minutes at the gym has the better benefit over 15-20 minutes of sleep. I feel good this morning. Gonna have a non fat latte and a banana with whole grains and peanut butter for breakfast. :) yum.
I will be posting on my daily progress, not only to keep myself accountable, but also to have a public journal in case I’m motivating anyone out there. Have a blessed and joyful Wednesday everyone!!!
This number represents my weight, which I am horribly dissatisfied with. Thus, today is the day I start to lose it. Goodbye 186, I never ever want to see you again.
